Bible Quizzing

The regular quizzing season has ended! The last quiz was very competitive. I was impressed how well the students had prepared. Fishsticks finished 2nd, and Xander Brown was quizzer of the year! Aryll Brown was 5th, and Zarya Sandeen placed 15th.

Next is the post-season. Youth Challenge is sending four teams to the post-season tournaments. I will be coaching a team at the Midland Regionals. Our team name is ‘Luminescence’ with 1 John 1:5 as our team verse: “This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.”

Please be praying for the post-season quizzers as they study, for safe travels to the tournaments, and for friendships to be formed.

Valentine's Day

Our oldest foster child and I went to the Fort Morgan nursing home to deliver goodie bags with a cookie and Valentine’s Day themed tract. The residents love seeing our young one. Please pray the message of God’s love reaches their hearts.

Please continue to pray for our foster children’s situation: That they would heal from past trauma, that their parents will find Jesus wholeheartedly, and that our children will grow up in a good, Christian home.

Bible Quizzing Team Fishsticks - second place team for the 2024-2025 quiz season! The Bible Quiz season is beginning!
